We’ve registered St Bede Parish, Bolton-le-Moors with #easyfundraising, which means over 4,000 shops and sites will now donate to us for FREE every time you use #easyfundraising to shop with them.
Normally, St Bede’s holds a number of fundraising events throughout the year. We have a dedicated Fundraising Group who organise events such as Body Shop evenings, Family Prize Race Nights, quiz nights, chocolate bingo, coffee mornings, afternoon teas and faith suppers.
Summer events include a strawberry fayre, a community fun day and a community barbeque. Our Community Room provides us with an all weather facility and these events are always well attended by the congregation.
The main fundraising event of the year is our Christmas Fayre which is held every November. The congregation of St Bede’s run and stock the stalls and the event is always well attended providing a social link between the school, church-goers and the local community.
Throughout the year the church runs a well established regular giving scheme, both by envelope and direct debit and many of the congregation contribute further with ‘gift aid’.
